Quality Control Inspector

Privately owned Multifeeder Technology is the world leader in design and manufacture of friction feeders and accessories, using the latest design techniques with state-of-the- art materials to provide solutions for our customers. Due to robust company growth, we are looking for an outgoing and team focused Quality Control Inspector to join our team.
As a member of the Quality and Production team, the Quality Control Inspector will work to maintain a high level of quality for incoming materials as well as both internally and externally manufactured parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform statistical sampling, first piece, incoming, in-process, final inspection, and non-conforming product QC inspections in accordance with SOP determined criteria.
  • Timely and accurate incoming inspections – dimensional and visual.
  • Document, compile, and maintain appropriate QC documentation including records, databases, audits, and inspection logs.
  • Communicate inspection results and status to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Procurement teams as applicable.
  • Read/interpret CAD drawing schematics and technical documents including but not limited to tolerances, dimensions, geometric dimensions and tolerance, and component values.
  • Use of inspection equipment such as but not limited to calipers, micrometers, plug gages, thread gages, bore gages, height gages, Rockwell hardness tester, and multi-meters.
  • Work off detailed drawings as well as in a paperless environment.
  • Detail oriented and Organized – maintain inventory of drawings / blueprints.

Qualifications:

  • Requires 3-5 years of QC or previous Machinist experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary.
  • Proficiency in drawing/specification interpretation.
  • Ability to review and understand third party standards from ASME, ANSI, SAE, NAS, MIL, etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of manual, pneumatic, and electronic inspection tools efficiently and in a safe manner.
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles. 5S best practice knowledge and experience a plus.
  • Exceptional reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using computer applications Word, Excel, Outlook.

Electronics Technician

Multifeeder Technology manufactures friction feeding equipment and systems for the packaging and print industries.
We currently have an opening for an Electronics Technician.

Job Description:

  • Building and wiring control panels
  • Testing and troubleshooting circuit boards
  • Wiring finished machines and integrated systems
  • Configuring sensors, barcode readers, pneumatics, and other third-party devices

Education:

  • 2-year Associates degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in Electronics or Automation Technology is required.

Qualifications:

  • 0-5 years experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Experience wiring industrial control panels
  • Familiarity with multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to perform basic soldering and cable assembly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform schematic capture
  • Experience with component-level troubleshooting
  • Technical writing ability
  • Familiarity with industrial sensors, electric motors, basic pneumatics

Required Skills:

  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to clearly communicate with other departments
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Good time management
  • Ability to multi-task between projects
  • General math and algebra ability

We currently have an opening for a full or part-time Electronics Technician Intern.

Job Description:

  • Building and wiring control panels
  • Testing and troubleshooting circuit boards
  • Wiring finished machines and integrated systems
  • Configuring sensors, barcode readers, pneumatics, and other third-party devices

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited institution in pursuit of a 2-year Associates degree or technical certificate in Electronics or Automation Technology

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Experience wiring industrial control panels
  • Familiarity with multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to perform basic soldering and cable assembly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform schematic capture
  • Experience with component-level troubleshooting
  • Technical writing ability
  • Familiarity with industrial sensors, electric motors, basic pneumatics
