Job Title:Customer Support Technician

Department:Sales, Aftermarket, and Marketing

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Ensures that Multifeeder relays a positive customer experience while providing remote service to customers on existing systems:
    o Delivers in-depth troubleshooting to customers via email, phone, or video support
    o Provides parts quotes that are required to fix systems down in the field
    o Aids Multifeeder Field Technicians with troubleshooting and customer support
  • Provide RMA support:
    o Issues RMA numbers for external customers and internal return requests
    o Quotes repair estimates to customers and follows-up until PO is received
    o Performs component level diagnoses and repairs for returned equipment
    o Performs testing for repairs of returned systems
    o Assists Production and Integration in technical resolution of open issues
    o Performs in-circuit testing of components (e.g. motors, computer boards, sensors)
    o Maximizes each RMA quotation to Multifeeder’s full sales potential
  • Provides Spare Parts orders support:
    o Quotes spare parts and processes orders
    o Maximizes each spare parts quotation to Multifeeder’s full sales potential, while being realistic to the customer
  • Responsible for quarterly and yearly scorecard and “Rock” goals related to:
    o Spare parts quotations, sales, and turnaround time
    o RMA quotations, sales, and turnaround time
    o Technical support calls and turnaround time
  • Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.

Education and/or Experience:

  • This position requires an Associate’s degree (preferably in Electronics engineering) from an accredited institution or related military experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of component level diagnostic troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of component testing, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment, with minimal instruction

  • Understand and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals from all over the world
  • Credible problem-solving skills are of paramount importance
  • Experience with CRM, Syspro, and Microsoft Suite are a plus
